All-paper child-resistant packaging
- Made entirely of paper, no plastic components
- Child-resistant and senior-friendly, both tested
- Fits the blisters you already use, up to three strips

Child-resistant usually means plastic. It does not have to.
Most child-resistant packs depend on plastic mechanisms and laminates. That makes them harder to recycle and harder to defend as packaging rules across Europe tighten around plastic.
You should not have to choose between a pack that protects children and a pack that fits your sustainability targets. The Locked4Kids Wallet Box is built to do both.

The Wallet Box, made entirely of paper
The Wallet Box is made entirely of paper. No plastic tray, no tear-resistant lamination. The paper is selected for its structural integrity and recyclability, and the design keeps a clean separation between the medicine blister and the paperboard, so each part can be recycled in the right stream.
It fits a broad range of blister strip sizes and holds up to three strips. It is compatible with around 95% of blister packs on the market and integrates with your existing primary blisters, so no modification to your blister is needed. It is a patented design.

How the Wallet Box opens
The Wallet Box opens when designated points are pressed at the same time. An adult does this easily; for a child the combined action is too complex.
This took real engineering. The original single-button design did not pass child-safety testing. Adding a simple third interactive element was the breakthrough that made the packaging pass. The opening action still needs no strength, so it stays senior-friendly: difficult for children, easy for adults.
Tested by 300 children. Certified for Europe and the US.
The Wallet Box is certified to ISO 8317 for Europe and to F=1 under US 16 CFR 1700.20 for the United States. Testing was carried out at BVI in Belgium, an ISO 17025-accredited laboratory.
In a panel of 300 children, fewer than 1% opened the packaging before a demonstration, and fewer than 4% after two five-minute rounds. The regulatory thresholds are 15% and 20%. Every senior tested opened the pack successfully. The packaging meets the Poison Prevention Packaging Act.
